Petty Pedestrian Bridge

The Petty Pedestrian Bridge, designed by Jenkins-Peer Architects of Charlotte, North Carolina, is a ninety-five foot structure connecting College Avenue to the Petty Building. Originally inspired by a pedestrian bridge traversing the Seine in Paris, the Bridge incorporates a glazed glass deck on a steel base.

Milk Bar

Kiser (Mose) Building

The Kiser Building, named for Mose Kiser, was located on Elam Avenue adjacent to Wesley Long Hospital. Originally planned for a School of Nursing dormitory, the building was eventually used as apartments for nurses.

Kiln

The Kiln, built in 1966, is located on the north side of McIver Building and was used by the Art Department until a new kiln was built behind the Maude Gatewood Studio Arts Building.

Junior Shoppe
