In 1913, the junior class decided to raise money for the annual banquet by selling sandwiches, fruit, and candies. This enterprise became so successful that it continued,  often financing class projects  Located at different times in the  basement of Administration Building (now Foust Building) and the Students’ Building, it became known as the Junior Shoppe, selling snack items and sundries to students.  This became a favorite spot for snacks until the Soda Shop (now the Faculty Center) opened in 1948.
