The Carolinian is the weekly newspaper of UNCG, published every Wednesday during the traditional academic year since 1919. The contents of the newspaper is written entirely by students. The Carolinian is a teaching newspaper, giving students the opportunity to develop and hone journalistic skills and emphasizing the importance of integrity in media. The Carolinian has a circulation of 5,000 copies each week.
